When the last great war ended, the Saints vanished. Their names faded into myth, their sanctuaries crumbled into ruin, and the sacred lanterns they once carried were extinguished. As centuries passed, hope became little more than a forgotten legend.
Then the darkness returned. A mysterious ruler known only as the Hollow King rose from the northern wastes. His armies swept across kingdoms without mercy, covering the land in endless night.
